Our company's mission is to give students the "key" to
open doors to higher SAT scores, to universities of their dreams, to be successful getting there! We have twenty five years
educator experience to know exactly how to reach your student and keep him engaged.
Admission to universities is dependent on many factors. Your student's work earning high grades in high school, a
high GPA (grade point average) for his four years of high school is important. The courses selected are important. Your student's
extracurricular and volunteer activities, of an average of three to four years, is also considered by universities. High
School work experience, leadership qualities, the university application and interview are other factors. But the SAT exam
is considered, by experts, to account for 1/4 of the decision to admit or not admit a student. In other words, your student
needs a high SAT score, higher than average. Look at books and journal articles to find the SAT score that different universities
are looking for.
The SAT I (or usually referred to as simply
the SAT) exam covers subjects of critical reading, match, and writing. The new, additional SAT II tests cover individual
subjects including foreign languages (Spanish is among them). Each section of the exam is scored on a scale of 200 to 800
points. So a perfect score, combined, is 2400. Rarely does anyone earn such a high score. Also, the questions stress speed
and strategic guessing. Our sessions include "practice" exams to simulate the time crunching experience requiring
deep concentration from the student.
For NCAA dreamers, you
must get a certain minimum score to be eligible to play on an intercollegiate team as a freshman. For those dreaming of Harvard,
Yale, Stanford universities, you must score in the 2300s. High SAT scores do not mean admission to the universities. There
are those factors listed above.
Minorities, per College
Board statistics, do worse on the SAT exam than others. There are no explanations, just statistics.
HOW ARE WE BETTER THAN COMPETITORS? We're affordable!.
One of our competitors charges $1,000, another $1,500. Plus, we're better because we use humor and practical examples
to help students "remember" facts and formulas. Our competitors never go over missed questions on exams, we go over
questions missed on the students' SAT practice exam, in addition to sincerely caring about your son's and daughter's success.
